GENERAL SHOW & DIVISION INFORMATION

16TH ANNUAL STINGREY CLASSIC

The Stingrey Classic is open to everyone worldwide.

All OPEN divisions are National Qualifiers.

Each competitor must join and be a current member of the NPC (for more info, see npcnewsonline.com)
All adult divisions will offer Novice, Open, & Open Master (35+) classes. Crossovers are available.
True Novice classes available for Men's Physique, and Women's Bikini, Figure, & Wellness divisions ONLY.
Teen competitors (16-19 years of age) and Masters competitors (35+ years of age) must bring copy of proof of age to weigh-ins for verification.
- Acceptable forms of documents to prove proof of age: One of the following, State ID or Drivers License, Passport, Birth Certificate, Voter’s registration card.

Registration Guidelines & Deadlines

Online registration only. No manual applications accepted.

Applications Due: April 7, 2023 (after the due date a late fee of $100 will be required).
ENTRY FEE: $150.00 (After online application is completed, online payment will follow).
COACHES PASS: You will be allowed ONLY 1-person backstage (competitors can purchase 1 coaches’ pass for $100 during your online registration). Coaches’ pass includes backstage entry for both prejudging and the night show and free entry to watch prejudging in the main ballroom. The night-show is NOT INCLUDED, so if you have a coaches pass, you will still need to purchase a seat for the night-show, if you want entry. IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE SOMEONE BACKSTAGE WITH YOU, THAT PERSON MUST HAVE AN NPC CARD for liability purposes. GO TO npcnewsonline.com to purchase a NPC card.
Add this option during online registration.
Additional Services: Add a photo package, tanning package and a video package during online registration.
CROSSOVERS ARE ALLOWED: YOU CAN COMPETE IN MORE THAN 1 DIVISION. To enter another division just complete another separate online application and pay the additional entrance fee of $100 per division added.

During the online registration please include your weight and/or height that you will approximately be at the weigh in/height check in (on April 20, 2023) based on your division requirements

(i.e mens classic physique will need to include both weight and height during online registration)

Please submit a headshot picture if you would like to be included in our free online digital program book. After your online application, email photo to stingreyclassic@gmail.com by April 7, 2023 (make sure to include your name and division entering, in the subject line of email).

MUSIC: All bodybuilding, classic physique, and women's physique must provide your own music. Posing for night show is 60 seconds only. Must be emailed to stingreyclassic@gmail.com by April 10, 2020 (There will be a $50 fee for all late music).

When emailing, please include your name, division, & starting on or off stage in the subject line of your email. (i.e. Rey Ronquilio, Open Bodybuilding, Start on stage).
DO NOT EMAIL THE WHOLE SONG: ONLY EMAIL YOUR 60 SECOND POSING SEGMENT.

Check in times: 5pm to 7pm

Competitors that have already received their 2023 NPC membership card prior to the weigh-in and height check-in, can proceed to the front of the line. No exceptions, you must present your 2020 NPC card before weight and/or height is taken. www.npcnewsonline.com
Competitors are required to have their bottom of their suit on during weight/height check in. All Suit bottoms must be approved of our Head Judge. If you do not have the proper suit requirements you will be disqualified. It is highly suggested you bring alternate suits height check in, just in case your original suit does not meet the requirements.
All competitors must be a current NPC Member in good standing, if you are not a current NPC (National Physique Committee) member, you can sign up at the weigh-in/height-check. Call Mark Valencia, State of Hawaii NPC chairman, for NPC membership info. Membership is $135.00, expires 12/2020. To order your NPC card online, go to www.npcnewsonline.com
Athletes Cards (Weigh-in & Height-in) must be initialed as final Division entering as verification upon Weight & Height check. All cards must be left with the NPC official.

Competitors will receive their numbers at weigh-ins/height check-ins on April 20, and their coaches passes at 6:30am at the front entrance of the Hawaii Ballroom on April 21, before the 7am mandatory meeting.
FAILURE TO APPEAR AT 7AM COMPETITORS MEETING on April 17, 2020 WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION!

Competitor check-in time for Night Show:

***The nightshow starts at 6pm. It is mandatory that each competitor be aware of the time they will be getting on stage (See Schedule of Events for Evening Show below). Failure to appear on time (on stage) at designated time will result in Disqualification.

There is a possibility that the evening show can till midnight (especially for the men’s open physique and women’s open bikini divisions). The evening show format is subject to change, at the discretion of the Promoter based on the time schedule of the events (based on competitor count).

AWARDS

The top 5 in each division will be awarded a custom Stingrey Classic medal.
Overall championship sword award goes to the overall winner of each division.
True Novice, Novice, Masters, & Open classes will compete against each other for the division overall sword.
Each women and teen girl division overall sword winners will also be awarded a crown.

All Overall Division Winners will need to take pictures on stage after the evening show has ended. Pictures will be used for promotional advertising for social media, website, program and poster.
