NPC MEN’S CLASSIC PHYSIQUE RULES & INFORMATION

STINGREY CLASSIC
MEN'S CLASSIC PHYSIQUE DIVISIONS:

NOVICE Classic Physique Division:

• ONE CLASS ONLY

OPEN MASTER Classic Physique Division 35+ (National Qualifier):

• CLASS A: Up to & including 5’9” + Up to & including 190 lbs.

• CLASS B: Over 5’9” + over 190 lbs.

OPEN Classic Physique Division (National Qualifier):

• CLASS A: Up to & including 5’7” + Up to & including 175 lbs.

• CLASS B: Over 5’7”, up to & including 5’10” + Up to & including 182 lbs. to Up to & including 197 lbs.

• CLASS C: Over 5’ 10” + Up to & including 205 lbs. to Up to & including 275 lbs.

NPC Classic Physique Athletes will be allowed to crossover and
compete in additional divisions. This way you can choose where you
currently fit the best.

CHECK-INS: HEIGHT & WEIGHT

Men Classic Physique Division competitors will be height and weight checked on April 16, 2026 @ the Sheraton Waikiki Waianae Ballroom from 5PM to 7PM (read the INFORMATION page for specific details). NPC Chairman Mark Valencia will be checking your posing trunks for approval so make sure to bring it during weigh-ins.

MANDATORY POSES

The Judging is scored 100% and will consist of comparisons of the quarter turns and the following “5” mandatory poses:

• Front Double Biceps

• Side Chest

• Back Double Biceps

• Abdominals and Thighs

• Favorite Classic Pose (No Most Muscular)

COMPETITION WEAR

Competitors are required to wear posing shorts. You are “NOT” to wear board shorts or Bodybuilding posing trunks. We have provided an image of the NPC Competition Classic Physique shorts below. Competitors are required to wear the same type of cut and all shorts that are worn in competition must be black. NPC CLASSIC PHYSIQUE COMPETITION WEAR!

POSING MUSIC

• PREJUDGING: There will be NO 60-second individual posing for prejudging (only comparisons)

• NIGHTSHOW: 60 second posing to competitor’s preferred music

• Posing music will be used at the Finals

• Posing music must not be longer than 60 SECONDS

• Posing music must be uploaded to your athletic page on Muscleware by April 4, 2026. A $50 late fee will be charged if music is turned in late. 

• Posing music must not contain vulgar lyrics. Competitors using music containing vulgar lyrics will be disqualified.

JUDGING FINALS

The Finals will consist of:

• Posing Routine (up to maximum of 60 seconds)

• Confirmation round (if necessary)

• Posedown (overall title only)
